History

Goodmans started in 1963 with two machines - a Ford County Crawler and a BTD6 Drott. These were put into service doing farm work around the Kapiti Coast area as a sideline activity to dairy farming. It wasn't long before the earthmoving area took precedence and Goodmans began to take shape.
